Barr Air Patrol is currently looking for Pipeline Patrol Pilots to be based in Reading, PA.

This position is located at Reading, PA (KRDG) and is scheduled for Monday-Friday but may involve occasional weekends and holidays depending on customer needs, rescheduling due to weather or maintenance, or emergencies.

Flight schedule varies depending on weather and maintenance conditions. Normal weekly flight time will vary between 20-25 hours and can usually be completed in 3-4 days.

Required skills

• Fixed Wing Piston Single Engine Type Rating: YES.
• Languages: English

• FAA CPL;
• 1500 hours of total flying experience;
• The unrestricted right to live and work in the US;
• Be a dedicated worker, and flexible with what days and routes are flown in order to accommodate weather and maintenance schedule changes;
• The successful candidate will also be within a maximum of one-hour commute and local candidates are highly preferred.

• Operating a single-engine aircraft at 500ft AGL in complex airspace environments while performing a high-quality patrol and interacting with the Customer as per their procedures.
• Additional duties include creating patrol reports and interacting with management and maintenance personnel to ensure patrols are completed in a timely manner according to contract.
