Jump Pilots Skydive Australia

A position has come available for a contractor pilot operating at Cairns and Mission with Skydive Australia. Operating out of Cairns and Tully Airports utilising a C208 equipped with a TPE331-12JR Texas Turbine (900shp) and a standard C208 PT6 as the back-up.

This position will be 4-5 days per week, with extra shifts available as required.

The successful applicant will be required to perform duties to the highest of safety standards, with a strong focus on professionalism, and a willingness to perform to a consistently high level of standard with a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for career progression as well as an opportunity to fly for our AOC Charter company ThereByAir, operating freight contracts in the Torres Strait Islands.

Required skills

• C208 Type Rating: YES.
• Languages: English

• The unrestricted right to live and work in Australia;
• CASA CPL;
• CASA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate;
  
• 10 hours on type;
• Current instrument Proficiency Check;
• Experience in controlled airspace an advantage;
• The right to live and work in Australia;
• Start time immediately;
• Current Jump Pilot Authorisation
