Seaborne Airlines is seeking a highly qualified Twin Engine Seaplane Pilot to join its team. This role requires extensive multi-engine float experience and the ability to safely operate in tropical marine environments, including congested harbors and coastal areas. The pilot will conduct scheduled and charter operations to and from iconic Caribbean destinations, bringing safety, precision, and professionalism to every flight.
Required skills
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land & Sea ratings
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, including:
- 1,500 hours multi-engine
- 1,000 hours in floatplane operations
- Prior experience in FAA Part 121 or 135 operations
- Demonstrated proficiency in seaplane operations in coastal, island, or open water environments
- U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization for operations in U.S. territories and partner countries.
Desired skills
- PIC time in aircraft such as the De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter (on floats), Grumman G-73 Mallard, or similar
- Experience operating in the Caribbean or other tropical maritime environments
- Familiarity with marine and aviation weather systems common to the region
- CRM and communication skills suited to a diverse, multicultural passenger base
