Tenax is currently looking for a GIV program pilot.

The pilot will support mission planning, aircrew mobilization, weather decisions, airspace coordination and safe operations of the company's modified Gulfstream IV aircraft. Operations will be in accordance with program and customer standards. Must be able to operate independently in austere environments worldwide. Contributes as a team member to maintain high aircraft availability rates 365 days per year. Interfaces with domestic and foreign government representatives regarding the use of local logistical infrastructure.

Required skills

  • Languages: English
  • Higher School Certificate;
  • FAA CPL;
  • Current ME/IR Land and Sea;
  • FAA Class 2 flight crew medical certificate;
  • 3000 hours of total flying experience;
  • 1500 hours on Multi-Engine turbine aircraft;
  • 500 hours on Multi-Engine jet aircraft;
  • 1000 hours flying experience Pilot in Command;
  • 300 must be in a similar type aircraft;
  • FCC Restricted Radio Permit;
  • Valid Driver’s License;
  • Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds;
  • Ability to work extra hours when necessary;
  • A valid US passport allowing unrestricted travel;
  • Able to secure necessary VISA(s);
  • Must possess and maintain a secret level or higher security clearance;
  • Must be able to complete pre-deployment training, DOT drug testing, and a medical examination in accordance with program standards through a CONUS Replacement Center.

Desired skills

  • ATP Certificate;
  • Gulfstream IV type rating and/or current proficiency in multiengine turbojet large-cabin aircraft;
  • International PIC flight experience;
  • Prior US Government operational flight experience;
  • Experience flying ISR, aerial mapping, or airborne data collection mission profiles;
  • Prior overseas military or government rotation experience;
  • Familiarity with DCMA Instruction 8210-1C or Army Regulation 95-20;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
