Insignia College was established in 2006 as designated Institute. They have campus locations in Surrey and Delta. Flight Instructors will be working out of Delta campus.

Required skills

• Fixed Wing Piston Single Engine Type Rating: YES.
• Languages: English

• TC CPL;
• Current IR Land;
• No-incident/accident certificate issued by authority or previous employer;
• The unrestricted right to live and work in Canada;
• For Class 1- Preference will be given to candidates with Transport Canada Examiner status holders;
• For Class 2,3 and 4- Prior Flight Instructor experience is an asset.

Other information

Job responsibilities:

1. Ability to maintain course standards, training requirements;
2. Ability to monitor and maintain student records and supervise other Instructors;
3. Familiar with all required subjects and Transport Canada Flight test guides and CARs;
4. Promote professional behaviour and attitude;
5. Conduct in-flight and ground school;
6. Other duties as assigned.
