Air Japan is looking for cabin crew to be based in Tokyo. 

Required skills

  • Languages: English
  • Those who have already graduated or completed a vocational school, junior college, technical college, four-year university, or graduate school as of the end of June 2023
  • Applicants must have at least one year of work experience as a working adult at the time of entry. (It does not matter whether you have experience as a flight attendant or not.)
  • Visual acuity with the naked eye or with contact lenses must be 1.0 or higher in both eyes.
  • Must have the necessary physical strength such as respiratory system, circulatory system, ear, nose and throat, eyes, spine, etc. to be able to fly on an aircraft.
  • Ability to work early mornings and late nights, regardless of Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, or New Year's holidays.
  • Hold a passport with at least one year of validity as of June 1, 2024.
  • If you have a passport other than Japanese nationality, you must have a Certificate of Eligibility (Residence Card).
  • (Certificate of Eligibility will be confirmed during the third round of selection.)
  • Applicants must be able to join the company after June 2024 at the time specified by the company.
  • Residing or planning to live in a place where you can commute to Narita International Airport and Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) within 120 minutes by public transportation.
  • Must have English proficiency with TOEIC score of 600 or above, GTEC2 skill of 260 or above, GTEC4 skill of 520 or above, and IELTS of 5.5 or above. Applicants must submit one of the following English scores obtained on or after June 19, 2022. 
    • ① TOEIC Listening & Reading Test 
    • ② TOEIC L&R IP Paper Test 
    • ③ IELTS General Training Paper version 
    • ④ IELTS General Training Computer version 
    • ⑤ GTEC Business public venue version 2 skills (Listening Reading) 
    • ⑥ GTEC Business public venue version 4 skills (Listening Reading Writing Speaking) *By the entry deadline 
    • * ~ If you are unable to submit ⑥, you can also take the GTEC online test.   However, in that case, you will be required to submit a valid score from one of ① to ⑥ at the time of the third selection. 
  • If Japanese is not your native language, you must have no difficulty in daily conversation, reading, and writing in Japanese.  (All education and training will be conducted in Japanese, so a language level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 or equivalent is recommended.)
