DO 228 Pilot in Command Summit Air UK

Summit Air is currently looking for an experienced ATPL Captain, looking for an exciting and unique opportunity to diversify his/her experience. Summit Air is seeking a pilot to operate a D228 and Skyvan for their RAF Base in Brize Norton, UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dornier 228 aircraft safely and efficiently in the United Kingdom;
• Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and determine fuel and oil requirements;
• Complete the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties.

Required skills

• Languages: English

• CASA ATPL;
  
• CASA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate;
• 3000 hours of total flying experience;
• 1500 hours flying experience Pilot in Command;
• 500 hours flying experience on Multi-Engine Command;
• Must be able to produce a clean criminal record check;
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills;
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven leadership ability;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Commitment to safety culture;
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements.

Desired skills

• Previous parachute flying experience;
• Previous European airspace experience;
• Familiarity with Dornier 228 and Skyvan preferred, but not required – training will be provided;
• Customer Service experience.
