Under the supervision of the Base Manager, the Apprentice Pilot will perform tasks related to aircraft loading and unloading, assist with shipping and receiving tasks, operate a variety of equipment including snow removal equipment and aircraft towing equipment as required.
Required skills
- Possess a minimum of commercial pilot’s license with a group 1 instrument rating;
- 200 Total Time;
- Group 1/3;
- CPL;
- Valid class “G” license;
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision;
- Proven mechanical abilities;
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment;
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment;
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
- Able to work well under pressure;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
Desired skills
- Ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway
