Air Affairs Australia operates from purpose-built facilities at the Albatross Aviation Technology Park, in the beautiful Shoalhaven Region of NSW.

Air Affairs Australia is seeking applications from Lear 60 type rated personnel to fill the positions of Line Pilot based in Nowra NSW to support special mission operations on the Lear 60 aircraft.

Suitable applicants will be well motivated, flexible and be able to work in a small team environment with the ability to manage operations whilst deployed away from home base.

Air Affairs Australia provide reconnaissance and intelligence support to a number of emergency service organisations within and outside of Australia, in a variety of configurations on a 24hour rotating roster basis.

A typical roster may encompass periods of standby at home or in company accommodation, or rostered duty shifts in Air Affairs Australia’s onsite crew facilities.

Minimum requirements:
  • Must either be an Australian citizen or have the legal right to work and live in Australia
  • Lear 60 Type rating
  • Australian ATPL (captains)
  • Australian CPL with Multi Crew Cooperation training or exemption (Co-pilots)
  • CASA Class 1 medical certificate
  • Multi-Engine instrument rating
  • 100 hours on Type
  • 500 hours PIC
  • Australian Drivers licence
  • Willingness and ability to work shift work

Desirable qualifications:
  • Current on Type
  • Aerial survey experience
  • Multi-crew special mission experience (SAR, Surveillance)
  • Five years commercial experience / 3000 hours total time
