Kingair B200T Pilots Air Affairs Australia

Air Affairs Australia provides reconnaissance and intelligence support to a number of emergency service and government organisations within and outside of Australia;
  • Fire Reconnaissance
  • Defence range clearance
  • Search and Rescue
  • Aero Medical Retrieval and Transport

Crews are generally rostered on a 24hr rotating basis. A typical roster may encompass periods of standby at home or in company accommodation, or rostered duty shifts in Air Affairs Australia’s onsite crew facilities.

Company housing is provided for casual and contract staff.

Minimum requirements:
  • Australian CPL (A)
  • CASA Class 1 medical certificate
  • Able to obtain an Australian Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • 1000 Hours Total
  • 500 hours PIC
  • 50 hours night
  • You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job
  • B200 type rating or Type flight review
  • 100 hours on King Air (any variant)
  • 500 hours PIC multi-engine or turbine single or combination

Desirable qualifications for all pilot positions:
  • Aerial Survey experience
  • Australian ATPL or subjects completed
  • CNSS RNAV approach experience
  • Multi crew coordination training
  • Experienced survey pilot OR
  • Experienced Special Missions Pilot (AMSA/Defence/AeroMed/Fire)
  • Check and Training experience will be highly regarded.
