B200 Rated and Non Type Rated Pilots Careflight Australia

CareFlight is an Australian charitable organisation with 30 years’ experience in aeromedicine. With bases in NSW and the NT’s Top End, their crews are dedicated to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the ill and injured. Their specially trained doctors and nurses use helicopters, aeroplanes, medi-jets and road ambulances to bring a hospital level of care to and transport around 5,000 patients each year.

Their diverse workforce is comprised of committed professionals with a drive to help save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.

They currently have an excellent opportunity for a pilot (flying Beechcraft B200, King Air aircraft) to work as part of their integrated Gove crew in fixed wing aeromedical operations. 

Minimum requirements:
  • Australian resident status;
  • CPL (A);
  • Class 1 Civil Aviation Medical;
  • 2500 hours total;
  • 1500 hours Pilot in Command;
  • 500 hours turbine;
  • 500 Multi-Engine command;
  • 200 hours night (candidates with over 150 hours night with remote area night experience are encouraged to apply);
  • Instrument rating – Multi-Engine aeroplane; and
  • 3 x IPC renewals on Multi-Engine aeroplane.

The following will be highly regarded:
  • ATPL (A);
  • Proline 21 EFIS experience;
  • King Air series type experience;
  • Extensive Single Pilot IFR background;
  • NT Area operational experience;
  • EMS experience; and
  • Remote area experience (specifically night operations into station properties and/or remote communities).
