Flight Instructors ST Aerospace Academy Australia

ST Aerospace Academy (Australia) Pty Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is able to conduct flight instruction as per the CASA syllabus, for RPL, PPL, CPL and MECIR. You will be working within a structured environment to assist in the delivery of the theory requirements in an integrated flying program for overseas airline cadet.

Ballarat Based (VIC), with satellite operations in Deniliquin (NSW) and Swan Hill (VIC)

Minimum requirements:

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (Current);
  • Class 1 Civil Aviation Medical & ASIC (Current);
  • Australian CP(A)L or Higher;
  • FIR A Grade 2 Instructor Training Endorsement (Current) with:
    • Multi Engine Training Endorsement
    • Instrument Rating Training endorsement.
  • IR MEA Instrument Rating – Multi Engine (Current) with:
    • IAP3D, IAP2D - CDI and Azimuth approaches
    • IPC conducted maximum 6 months ago
    • 2 Renewals
  • 1500 hours Pilot in Command;
  • 50 Hours Multi Engine Pilot in Command in instructional sequences;
  • 30 Hours Instrument time Pilot in Command
  • 20 Hours Night Pilot in Command in instructional sequences (Candidates with excess of 20hrs Night PIC are encouraged to apply)
  • Candidates must have the right to work in Australia

The following qualifications will be highly regarded:
  • FIR A Grade 1 Instructor training endorsement with the above mentioned criteria
  • Pass in CASA ATPL subjects;
  • Excellent theory knowledge and delivery skills;
  • Excellent people skills;
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Sound understanding of the PART 61 MOS and PART 61 training requirements
