B747-200 Rated and Non Type Rated Pilots Raytheon US

Raytheon is seeking a Project Pilot for 747-200 experimental test aircraft used in support of mission data collection efforts for the Rolls-Royce Flying Test Bed (RR FTB) program. Responsible for the safe pre-flight and operations of a 747-200 flight test aircraft during mission flights, engineering and modification test flights, system acceptance and flight test support through specifically prescribed flight tests and maneuvers. Identify, log and report aircraft discrepancies to maintenance department personnel to analyze and correct.

Minimum requirements:
  • Possess a valid and current Pilot FAA issued license
  • Possess FAA Class 1 airman physical examination
  • High School Graduate
  • AA Degree or higher
  • 1000 flight hours in jet aircraft as Pilot
  • 250 flight hours in 747-200 or equivalent aircraft
  • 100 flight hours as Pilot in experimental aircraft
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain flight proficiencies and flight standards as set by Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies and procedures.

Desired Skills:
  • AA college degree or higher 
  • 10 years' experience in aviation related job 
  • 5 years' experience performing as a Pilot
