Chief Flying Instructor The Wanganui Aero Club Nez Zealand

The Wanganui Aero Club are seeking expressions of interest for the role as Chief Flying Instructor based at the Wanganui airfield. The successful applicant will be taking over the role of flight training to a high safety standard, He/She will be the face of the club and will organize bookings and club trips. The Club currently operates a fleet of 3 aircraft, 2 General Aviation types and 1 Light Sport Aircraft. The successful applicant can expect to fly around 30 – 40 hours/month. Accommodation available if wanted.

Minimum Experience:
  • CPL 
  • 500 Hours Total Time 
  • 250 Hours Instructing Experience 
  • Out of direct supervision C Cat 
  • Current Class 1 Medical
  • Must either be a New Zealand citizen or have the legal right to work and live in New Zealand

Desirable Experience:
  • B Cat Instructors Rating 
  • Marketing and Management Skills 
  • Aero Club Instructor Experience 
  • Ratings in C172 and PA38 
  • Light Sport Aircraft Experience
