Safety Pilots Boeing US

Boeing is currently looking for Safety Pilot candidates to be based in Renton, WA. Provides flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levels. Maintains qualification as a Boeing Captain on at least one aircraft model.
Provides information and specialized technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operation efficiency. Supports new aircraft and system development and certification efforts. Develops and validates procedures and operating techniques and assists Technical Pilots with cross-model procedures. Consults with cross-functional teams during accident investigations and analysis. Researches, edits, documents and coordinates publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing aircraft. Represents Boeing as a safety pilot by authoring and presenting professional papers at worldwide safety and flight operational forums. May meet with regulatory agencies at the executive level. Supports sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft and new flight technology. Serves as a consultant to senior management and other industry professionals. This position worksunder minimal direction and reports to the Chief Pilot, Flight Technical and Safety.

Minimum requirements:
  • FAA ATP certificate or international equivalent with the appropriate
  • endorsements
  • First Class Medical 
  • Must possess documentation to work in the US 

Typical Education/Experience:
Level 3 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Level 4 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
