C130 Pilots NASA US

Wyle is currently recruiting C130 Pilots. This position supports NASA Wallops Flight Facility Aircraft Office flight operations in Wallops Island, VA. The successful candidate will support science missions, flight test operations, and logistical support flights as required by the customer. The applicant will be required to travel in support of these duties. 

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college
  • Ten (10) years flying experience required
  • Candidates must possess an FAA commercial pilot license with instrument, multi-engine ratings or possess a military pilot designation and instrument rating from the armed services
  • A minimum of 3000 hours of pilot total flight time
  • At least 1500 hours as pilot in command of multi-engine turboprop aircraft is required
  • The candidate will possess a minimum of five (5) years combination of experience in the C-130 or P-3 aircraft. 
  • Candidate must also have a past designation in the C-130 aircraft and candidate must have also been designated as a Plane Commander in a multi-engine turboprop aircraft. 
  • Candidate must have international flying experience, arctic flying experience desired. 
  • Candidate must hold an FAA First Class Medical certificate and previously completed aircrew water survival and physiological training courses. 
  • Airline Transport Pilot rating is desired. 
  • Dual-engine turboprop aircraft experience is desired. 
  • A current qualification in the C-130 aircraft is highly desired in addition to possessing an L-382 type rating.
  • Must either be a US citizen or have the legal right to work and live in US
