CL604 Captains Meridian US

Meridian Air Charter is currently looking for CL604 Captains to join their operation to be based in Teterboro, NJ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as Captain
  • Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) of flights for which the pilot has been assigned.
  • Wear the company issued uniform and comply with the uniform policy.
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation.
  • Operate the assigned aircraft in accordance with Aircraft Flight Manual and all other aircraft manuals.
  • Ensure that preflight inspections are performed.
  • Perform all company assigned duties in accordance with company manuals, memos, and policies.
  • Conduct diligent preflight planning and prepare flight plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation.
  • Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all of the necessary provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
  • Review and calculate the aircraft’s weight and balance, fuel on board and performance.
  • Use checklists.
  • Supervise the first officer and flight attendant in any duties necessary for smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the aircraft.
  • Coordinate the functioning of all crewmembers assigned to the flight.
  • Monitor crew performance, share knowledge, and evaluate their potential for advancement.
  • Make decisions necessary to start, delay or cancel flights and deviate from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
  • Remain technically proficient and knowledgeable on the assigned aircraft.
  • Remain knowledgeable on FAR’s, Ops Specs and AIM procedures.
  • Assist with the training of new hires and the upgrading of crew members.
  • Handle passenger baggage and cargo.
  • Assist passengers with their ground transportation needs.
  • Revise published material.
  • Maintain type rating requirements in the assigned aircraft.

Education and Professional Experience
  • Associates Degree
  • ATP License
  • CL-604 type rating 
  • 1st Class Medical
  • 5000 Hours Total Flight Time
  • 3500 Hours Pilot in Command
  • 2000 Hours Turbojet
  • International flight experience
  • Large cabin aircraft experience
