B200 Atmospheric Research Pilots The University of Wyoming US

The Department of Atmospheric Science at the University of Wyoming is seeking applications for B200 Atmospheric Research Pilots. The successful applicant will have a varied background with experience in non-standard, complex flight profiles; a can-do attitude and a positive approach to customer service. 

Minimum requirements: 
  • FAA ATP pilot license
  • MEL rating
  • 1st Class FAA Medical
  • Radio Telephone Operators Permit
  • Flight experience in complex mission-oriented profiles
  • Recent experience in King Air aircraft
  • Bachelor's degree from college or university
  • BE-200 Type rating obtained within 6 months of employment
  • 2250 hours PIC
  • 1500 hours Airplane MEL PIC
  • 375 hours Turboprop PIC
  • 260 hours actual instrument
  • English language reading and writing proficiency

Preferred requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in science or engineering
  • Current BE-200 Type rating. 
  • 3000 hours PIC
  • 2000 hours Airplane MEL PIC
  • 500 hours Turboprop PIC
  • 350 hours actual instrument
  • 100 hours King Air type PIC
