Falcon 2000EX EASy Rated and Non Type Rated Captains Cigna US

CIGNA Global Security & Aviation is currently looking for Falcon 2000EX EASy Rated and Non Type Rated Captains to be based in Bradley International Airport

Facts about CIGNA and the job offer:

  • Established in the late 1970’s
  • International Standard of Business Aircraft Operations certified – Stage III
  • Currently operate a Falcon 7x EASy II and a Falcon 2000LX EASy I (INAV cockpits)
  • Worldwide flight operations – Europe, Middle East, Eurasia, Far East
  • We fly approximately 1,400 hours per year as a fleet (2 aircraft)
  • Trips range from day trips to 14 day international trips
  • Few pop up trips, weekend trips, or holiday trips but they do/can occur
  • Schedule is set 1-2 weeks in advance yet always subject to change based on trip requirements
  • Each pilot flies 350-400 flight hours annually
  • Each pilot will average 10 overnights a month
  • Crew consists of 2 pilots and 1 flight attendant
  • Any pilot hired will undergo 50 hours of mandatory right seat duties prior to flying the aircraft
  • When pilot is qualified and competent, legs are typically shared by the pilots although the captain retains full authority to determine which if any legs the first officer can fly
  • Captains typically go leg for leg in the left seat

Minimum requirements: 

  • Airline Transport Pilot - Preferred Type ratings: Falcon 2000EX EASy (DA2EASY)
  • Falcon INAV cockpit avionics experience preferred
  • International experience in corporate aircraft including Asia (Japan, S. Korea, China, Thailand), Indonesia, India, Europe
  • 5,000 total flight time, 500 in Falcon 2000EX EASy
  • College degree and/or aviation military service strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in both pilot in command and second in command duties; Trip planning (Weather, Itinerary, Loading, Fuel)
  • Strong level of Professionalism required
  • Ability to pass vetting procedure to access to Washington National Airport access program (DASSP)
  • Ability to pass vetting procedure for Bradley International Airport badge
  • Ability to pass vetting process for the Global Assist USCBP program
  • Ability to operate as a crewmember in Canada
  • Competence in a Windows XP/7 environment to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work late nights, weekends, holidays (although most flights don’t occur on these days the ability needs to be there on occasion)
  • Self motivated
  • Self disciplined
  • Add value to the development of the flight department
  • Ability to work within the International Standards of Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO Level III operator) established rules.
  • Ability to report to the airport between 3am & 6am for most flights
  • Ability to be away from home for 14 days (for trips)
