Non Type Rated Fighter Pilot Task Lead Team Sawdey Solution Services US

Team Sawdey Solution Services (Team S3) led by Sawdey Solution Services, Inc. have multiple contingency positions available in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services IV (CAAS IV) Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Programming, Planning, Budgeting, & Execution (PPBE) and Process Improvement Support.

At this present time they are in the process of identifying candidates for the following position in SAF/IA at Pentagon, Washington, DC:
  • The Contractor shall provide on-site Contractor support for the Air Force's international training and education programs, specifically aircrew training courses with an emphasis on fighter aircraft platforms (F-16 and F-35). 
  •  With the F-35 program, the Contractor shall lead the SAF/IA engagement with AETC, the JSF Program Office, OSD agencies and SAF/IA Country Director when discussing aircrew training. 
  • They will provide support for all Political-Military (POL-MIL) engagements with international partners acquiring the conventional take-off and landing (CTOL) variant of the Joint Strike Fighter ( JSF) through the FMS process, and assess the potential shortfalls and issues with the international engagement with the AETC training system. 
  • With the F-35 program, the Contractor shall be responsible for coordination of activities, documents and briefings required to advise SAF/IA leadership of the status of international participation in the F-35 program, highlighting critical challenges as required. 
  • With the F-16 program, the Contractor will lead annual discussions on the development of HAF/SAF solutions to increase capacity at the F-16 schoolhouse using innovative solutions. 
  • This requires coordination with National Guard Bureau (NGB) leadership as well as local Air National Guard (ANG) staff, AETC and Headquarters Air Force (HAF)/A3O agencies responsible for fighter training throughput. 
  • With the F-16 program, the Contractor shall review international fighter training programs to assess their viability and ensure they meet the FMS partners’ objectives

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree
  • 10 years’ experience in USAF flying and training systems
  • 3 years’ experience JSF program and AETC training systems
  • 3 years’ experience Air Force’s current aircrew training distribution system
  • 3 years’ experience USAF aircrew training processes, flying syllabi, USAF aircraft and their various crew positions, and general tactics and upgrade timelines for fighter platforms
  • 3 years’ experience USAF fighter (rated) experience
  • Must think logically and work well with people.
  • Outstanding writing skills and excellent verbal communications skills a must. Possess the ability to consolidate large amounts of information into succinct salient points.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using unclassified (NIPRNet) and classified (SIPRNet) network enterprise environments and office automation software to include Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
