Chief Flight Instructor Amber Aviation Academy Australia

Amber Aviation Academy is currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person for the position of Manager Flight Operations and Chief Flying Instructor based at Essendon Victoria Australia. Amber Aviation Academy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amber Aviation Pty Ltd, a rebrand of Fogarty’s Aviation Academy.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the day to day flight operations of the Academy
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Academy’s training material and syllabi
• Responsible for the supervision of the Academy’s training staff
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the conditions of the Academy’s Air Operator’s Certificate
• Forward recommendations to the Managing Director to ensure adequate resourcing , facilities, aircraft and staff are available to accommodate the Academy’s business including future expansion 

Minimum requirements:

• Meet all Australian License Requirements, possess Multi Engine and Instrument Flight Rules trainingapproval and hold a Grade 1 Flight Instructor Rating or NZCAA equivalent certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the role of a Grade 1 Instructor or CP / CFI
• Managed, worked in or possess knowledge of a Registered Training Organisation
